Hotel description: The Castle Letzlingen (then called “Hirschburg”) was build 1560 through 1568 by the Elector Georg von Brandenburg as a hunting castle. It is the only preserved castle of the Hohenzollern royalty in Saxony-Anhalt. Czar Alexander and Otto von Bismarck were famous visitors in former times. Surrounded by the castle woods, the castle chapel at its doorstep, in the midst of Colbitz-Letzlinger heath, the castle is located on the outskirts of Magdeburg. The „gentlemen’s residence“ houses the hotelguests. 6 single and 14 double rooms, 2 studios and 2 junior suites are available. The princely wedding suite is located in the south-west tower of the castle. All comfortable rooms are furnished in an unique style, equipped with shower or bathroom/ WC, hair dryer and satellite TV. Smoking lounges are available on several floors. Breakfast – offering country fresh regional specialities – is an outstanding experience.

Outdoor activities, relaxing walks in the castle forest, farewell parties and fancy dinner dances can be arranged. Conference packages are available.
