Our name, Araguaney, evokes far-off lands. The araguaney (tabebuia chrysantha) is the tree that symbolizes Venezuela, which bears very attractive yellow flowers. The araguaney is the hotel’s inspiring essence because in one sole denomination it unites Arab colours and luxuriant Latin American vegetation. Araguaney was the name chosen by the founder of the hotel, Ghaleb Jaber Ibrahim, long settled in Compostela, who is of Palestinian origin and has a Venezuelan wife. An unmistakable identity mark of the Eurostars Araguaney is its passion for art. Along the corridors and in the guest rooms hang works by artists such as Quintana Martelo, Antón Patiño or Felipe Criado.

The Eurostars Araguaney Hotel is the nerve centre for corporate events in the capital of Galicia. 13 reception rooms of different sizes and capacities are available, in order to satisfy the interests of each one of our customers. These areas have consolidated the Eurostars Araguaney as one of the city’s congress centres par excellence. We have rooms to cater for up to 350 persons. All are perfectly equipped to guarantee the success of any meetings: possible simultaneous translation/interpreting, video-conferences, closed circuit TV, secretarial service, etc. On the subject of weddings and banquets, if the customer so wishes, the hotel can also take care of the photography, the invitations, decoration, protocol, etc.
